I know when I think of floral clothing all I can picture is Miranda Priestly rolling her eyes and exclaiming "florals? for spring? Groundbreaking." But I do think it's groundbreaking that florals have started blossoming, blooming (too much?) their way not only onto Spring/Summer runways but also onto the Fall/Winter catwalks. While I shot this look a month or so ago before we all realized Winter is actually going to happen this year, I have been seeing more and more florals as the weather has transitioned from lemonade-friendly vibes to hot chocolate-necessary ones. I have also recently gotten into mixing silhouettes- in this case a girly floral dress with booties and a light military jacket/parka combo. I'm also excited to mix chunky knits with this new pleather/vinyl trend that's becoming impossible to ignore these days.
